Teaching You How To Make Wine In a Fun & Easy Way

Hello, my name is Leah Lockett Harris

and as you guessed I’m from Philadelphia. I am a winemaker and content creator.

I currently teach my winemaking techniques on my YouTube channel Philly Girl Hand Crafted Wines.

I became a winemaker purely by accident, I talk about my journey in my first episode of Hand Crafted Wines. Winemaking has been my hobby; actually my passion for over sixteen years.

Unlike traditional wines, my wines are what’s considered ‘country wines’. My ingredients are fruits, vegetables, teas, herbs and spices, even chocolate! I’ve experimented and made some delicious combinations!

With honey I create amazing meads, melomels which are fruit and honey wines and metheglins; honey wine made with herbs.

My goal is expand my winemaking by opening a wine production facility location in my hometown Philadelphia. I plan to have a tasting room, continue to create content and offer in person wine classes

" I’ll certainly be recommending your channel. It provides valuable insights, recommendations and great recipes. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced wine maker, I can't imagine a better channel to help you along the way! "
